Ideally coaching supports clients to create positive change – but change doesn’t happen just from “knowing.” Emotions are a key driver for professional and personal transformation. The CEQ equips professionals with a powerful emotional intelligence assessment (the SEI) and the Six Seconds Change MAP as a roadmap for structuring a transformational coaching process fuelled by EQ. This workshop took place in Durban from 4-7 March 2013 and was led by Jayne Morrison.
These delegates (above) attended the EQE Certification workshop at Calissa Lodge on the 11th & 12th March. It was led by Dr Susan Stillman, sitting in the front row. Educators were taught how to introduce Social emotional learning to children in their learning environments.
The group that attended the EQ Coach course which was run at Calissa Lode from 4-7 March and taught delegates how to conduct and debrief the Six Seconds Self Assessment EQ test known as the SEI as well as teaching coaching techniques and the change MAP process.
It was an in-house workshop for the Management and Sales and Ops teams from Forward African Transport Services (Pty) Ltd. Also held at Calissa Lodge on 8 and 9 February 2013 and was an introduction to Emotional Intelligence and Team building.

Lee was featured in my article on Optimism and its impact on life when I wrote about her husband Naven. Lee’s well deserved award comes from her work over the past few years for The Robin Hood Foundation, Embo village, R.P.Moodley School for Disabled children and St Thomas Children’s home. Lee will be flown to New York to receive this prestigious and extremely well deserved award on the 25th February 2013.
